Club Membership:  No membership fee required.

Trip Signup:

To go on a club trip, a Trip Reservation Form must be completed for each participant, signed and accompanied by payment as indicated below.  All applications are processed on a first come, first serve basis.  

Club Trip Payments:
1. Trip payments may be made with personal check, credit card check, money order or cash.  Payment in full is

    welcomed, however payment can also be in the form of a $50 deposit accompanied by a post-dated check dated 

    30 days prior to the trip departure date.  

    NO EXCEPTIONS! 

    If your check does not clear, you will lose your deposit.

2. Payment made after 30 days prior to trip departure must be paid in full by cash, check or money order.  

    Payment received less than one week prior to trip departure must be cash only.

3. Make checks payable to North Texas Skiers.  

    Trip payments can be submitted at the monthly meetings or by mail to:

4. At this time, we do not accept payment by credit card.  However, credit card checks are acceptable.
5. Payments for trips that are coordinated with a contracted provider should be paid directly to the provider. 

   Tour provider payment guidelines, supersede all current club     policies.  If paying by check, make your

   check payable to the provider only.

Member Cancellations:
1. All cancellations must be in writing or email.
2. Written notice received 61 days prior to departure will result in a full refund less a $25 processing fee.
3. Written Notice received between 60 days and 31 days prior to departure will result in a refund less $100.
4. Those cancellations made after 31 days prior to trip departure will not be eligible for a refund without a replacement. 

    A $25   processing fee will be charged.
5. Tour provider cancellations and refund guidelines, supersede all current club policies.  Cancellation and refunds on

    trips that are coordinated with a contracted provider will be based on the rules of the provider.  All disputes regarding cancellation

    or refunds should be discussed with the provider only.

Club Cancellations:    North Texas Skiers reserves the right to cancel any trip at any time due to conditions beyond it's control including

lack of participation.  In the event a trip is cancelled, all money recovered from suppliers will be refunded on a prorated basis. 

Tour provider cancellation guidelines, supersede the policies of the club.

Stand By List:    All fully paid applications received after a trip is filled will be put on a stand by list. Applicants will be notified by the club and given the opportunity of a full refund or apply the money to another trip.

Bus Seating and Rooming Arrangements:    Seating and Roommate arrangements will be decided by North Texas Skiers.  We will make every attempt to satisfy your request for roommates if possible.  If you want to change where you sit or who you're rooming with, all the involved parties must agree to the change or we will not be able to comply with your wishes.  If a resort permits smoking in their rooms, we will attempt to place smokers in rooms together.  In instances where smokers and non-smokers are placed together, the smokers must have the agreement of the non-smokers or go outside of the room to smoke.  No illegal substances are allowed at any time.

Snow Clauses:    If a resort notifies the club before departure that there are less than 25% of the lifts open, the club may try to reschedule the trip to a comparable ski area.  If no comparable area is available, the club may cancel the trip and refund all monies recoverable from its suppliers.

Bus Procedures: North Texas Skiers will provide a limited quantity of ice, cups, water, and soft drinks for your enjoyment. On board baggage is limited to a sleeping bag or blanket, pillow, games and food snacks. The use of illegal substance anywhere on the bus is strictly prohibited and may result in that person (s) removal from the bus.

Authority: The trip director and/or assistant will have complete authority in representing the club and its policies. North Texas Skiers reserves the right to refuse or terminate trip service to anyone at any time. If a person becomes excessively obnoxious or violent, we reserve the right to remove that person from the trip at any time.
